It's me pre-enter the professional world

This would be a good memo reminding me who I am. The "Me" that I know before I start my working mode.

Here I am after the end of 2 internships . i learned SO MUCH and changed so much. And I am definitely 100% satisfied with these changes. So this is me that I know....

1. Me that I know don't like talking behind other people's back. Rather just go confront and say "you suck" than complaining behind someone's back.
2. Me that I know always help other if they are in trouble...being a savior is my first priority in my life.
3. Me that I know don't really care about money.
4. Me that I know care more about personal growth and learning experience.
5. Me that I know never hold useful information from friends.
6. Me that I know never use other people's status or situation to make me feel better about myself.
7. Me that I know have a strong drive to give everything a shot with no fear even though there's not much chances.
8. Me that I know rather do something WRONG by myself than listening to all the warnings.
9. Me that I know like going to work early and leave on time.
10. Me that I know do not wish to be disturb after work hours.
11. Me that I know love this job because it's about inspiring people and to make them feel better.
12. Me that I know doesn't give much time to friends & family but intend to improve on that.
13. Me that I know do not believe in fast food.
14. Me that I know know that this job will be a chance to make a difference to the world. To show people that advertising and marketing isn't just full of crap through using it to create the positive result. If it's bad, then it's the people that is bad. Not the tool
15. Me that I know one day want to teach other people what she learn from her work experience and inspire other people to make this world a better place.
16. Me that I know rather spend her money on buying her life experience like Capoeira class than buying new things like cellphones or luxurious bags.
17. Me that I know is always supportive not criticisive.
18. Me that I know love running outdoor and be free in the nature.
19. Me that I know doesn't treat a job as just a work. It's her passion. With that every steps is her PERSONAL achievement.
20. Me that I know would never lose sight of what she wants in life and from time to time will always do a review whether she's coming close to her goal or not.

Dear Mom

Dear mom,

I have something really disappointing to tell you. I don't think I want to go to Harvard anymore.

I think the world is too cruel and none of the high level education can do anything to change it.
I don't think HBS is the place.

I don' t know what can help me or us now. The country has stepped beyond far a point that any business theory can save it. That doesn't mean I think what I learned is totally useless for my country, mother. But it is just not enough to take it where I want it to be.

I don't know mommy. I don't know. And I'm sorry for not being able to take action now.
Actually it is my choice that I won't take any action now. But I am trying my best to stay sane in this world. And it has been a challenge already.

I am sorry mommy. So sorry

American dream

Maybe what makes their nation great is what they call "American dream".

The belief in being self-built that creates opportunities that are available widely in their country.

I just figured if the U.S. really loves having young people striving for success and creating new world. Then I should spend my time when I am still considered young there.

Then when I get older and has more experienced I should move back to Thailand where people values seniority.

By that I will have both best time of my life. :P

Is inspriation a positive version of the word Influence?

People hate to be influenced. But they love to be inspired, don’t they?
People also reject to be an influencer but it’s o.k. for them to be an inspirer or the inspiration of something. Actually the word o.k. might not be o.k. enough to describe that.
What is the line that separating these two?
An intention maybe…
It’s claimed that the inspirer doesn’t have any specific goal in their intention in the process of inspiring.
An act of inspiring therefore becomes more of an open conversation or comes in a form of open end question. The audience can let their mind wander and think.
Yet I would argue that still the method of inspiring already eliminate certain potential outcomes or narrow it down
....Or even direct the attention of the listener to a certain path.
An act of Influencing in the other hand has clearer ends of what the influencer is trying to achieve. Does it?
Or is it just a heavier version and more intense of a word to use?

Some say influencer comes with authority....

It’s just something to think about.

Crying baby

I remember reading the book Maus by Art Speigelman. The book talks about his experience actually mostly his dad's experience from the Holocaust. It comes in a form of comic book which is extremely interesting. I never read anything this intense and expressed in such an easy form.

At one point the author imagined himself to be a kid when he was pressured by the reporters. They were attacking him about the book's criticism.

Professor Dale Carrico asked us why did that happened?
Why did the author drew himself in a smaller version when he was a kid. And as the story progresses when he returned to his day, his normal depressing day, he has to grow up. In another word he gets bigger.

I think I now know how he felt.

Allow me to illustrate it to you.
It's the moment that you're sad or down or pressured or disappointed...
It's the moment as a result of you've been working so hard for yourself but after all you realize you can't control everything.
There is something beyond your ability or decision.
It's the moment that you know what you want exactly but guess what you can't have it.
You wont' have it.
It's the same moment that you might feel tired and hopeless.

I know it's getting long but who cares it's my blog. I'll say whatever I want.
It's the moment that you feel out of place.
The moment that you think you might not belong here.
Moment that you realized you're not built or ready to face this yet.

The moment that you know you're not mature enough.

And the thing that you're facing hit you so hard.
That you just want to roll down on the floor... and keep crying...I want it this way!!!! Why things have to change!!!

Well little child...
Things always change.
And you know that.

Doesn't matter you try so hard to fix everything to make it the way it is.
People will change.

Even you yourself age everyday.
The you today and the you tomorrow never are the same.
You know that.

Lost kid

I thought I was doing multiple things these days.
It had just occurred to me that my MULTIPLE things were just multiple tasks and assignments and projects.

Having multiple things to do were suppose to be about having multiple goals in life.
Like being healthy and happy and rich....
Whatever...
whatever your goal is...

Right now I have one goal but a lot of different strategy. That would be the way to put it.
Yeah It's actually more like that.

It's just weird that how one can actually got occupied and forgot about what one actually wants.
When you're working on too many projects, to many tasks, I guess it happens.
Oh I know it's like the CEO in BA401 class that got occupied with day-to-day task that forgot about strategic work.
Guess what his company runs well on day - to - day basis!!!!
But not good enough I guess.

I actually don't know whether which one is worst.
Having a goal that you didn't reach
Or not having a goal at all...
But whatever

Let's continue

It's like you are so obsessed about your life or maybe your new school.
And you never actually miss your old friends.
And you thought you're tough. You're great. You know how to move on and say goodbye.

But then you run into your old buddy one day. And all the things hit you.

That is how I recognize my unsuccessful plan also.
I ran into my old friends. (by ran into I mean facebook chat)
And with her she brought back all the memory about my ex-life also.
It's not completely ex actually.
But it's certainly a past.
A happy past, indeed.

One more thing I get from this is how complex human mind is.
I'm scared these days about how much can I deceive myself.
How my defense mechanism work so well
And how much illusion I bring with it
To create my own world
That I am happy...
Alone
In my own way.
